Enjoy the rich local history of PInellas County in a shady, park-like setting with a walking tour of houses and buildings from the community's past. Volunteer docents are on hand in each house to detail the significance of the building, its design features and to describe some of the fully appointed authentic contents as well. Special celebrations, such as railroad days, music festivals and civil war reenactments are offered year round. This is a fun place for the entire family and great for those on a budget because it is free!
PROS: Interesting, beautiful setting. Great for the budget minded family
CONS: On site parking is limited, may have to walk a bit.
